Thank you to Fifth grade for leading us in mass today and our student choir for their beautiful singing!
In celebration of the Feast of the Epiphany (commemorating the presentation of the infant Jesus to the Magi, or three wise men) middle school students chalked their doors today. Chalking the door is a sign and symbol of asking God’s blessing upon those who live, work, or visit through the coming year.
In art class, Kindergarten students learned about creating value with color and the use of simple shapes to create these modern nativity scenes. First they filled their pages to create the night sky and the light of the moon. Then they puzzled their shapes to create the figures of Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus.
